Just for a short post, I didn't manage to get Decool 7110 The Hulk Buster Smash 'cause my bro and I got Lele's version instead. Check out my bro's blog where he reviewed the item on http://ethanlauexpress.blogspot.my/2015/11/my-second-post-hulk-buster-smash.html

My Last Post... For Now :P

This is my last post on toys, action figures and Lego... for now, ‘till I get Decool 7110 the Hulk Buster Smash. Today, I’m just sharing some pictures with you guys.

This is what it looks like when my hulkbuster is in action.

I’ve also made the Hulkbuster action figure into a Lego/action figure by replacing its head with a Lego Iron Man head.

I dismantled the unknown guy's head.

Then, I snap on the Lego Iron Man head.

This is taken from a different angle with the Iron Man's masked open.

Just to clear things up, the guy in the Ant-Man suit from my previous post is actually Scott Lang, according to the Marvel Comics Pocketbook my dad and I bought one week before my PT3 examinations- The Astonishing Ant-Man (Origins) by David Michelinie, John Byne & Bob Layton, Avengers (The Korvac Saga) by Jim Shooter, David Michelinie, Bill Mantlo, George Perez, John Byne, Sal Buscema & David Wenzel, Daredevil (Marked for Murder) by Frank Miller & Klaus Janson, and Rocket Raccoon (Guardian of the Keystone Quadrant) by Bill Mantlo & Mike Mignola.

2nd Guitar!!!

Just for a short post, I recently got a generous gift, a acoustic guitar from my Uncle Boon Hui and Aunt Annie. Thank you!!! Now, I have two guitars, one nylon and one steel string guitar.

My new Samick Guitar, comes with a guitar stand and bag.

My first guitar.

I guess from now on, the pictures are going to do most of the talking :P
P.S. In the last post, I reviewed my version of Lego Hulk Buster. I forgot to mention that the head cover for the hulkbuster armour is from the hulkbuster action figure that I also reviewed previously

Before PT3

I recently bought a few ‘bootleg’ minifigures like the Vision, Baron Von Strucker, Winter Soldier (ver.2)and Cyborg from Decool and from Sheng Yuan (SY) the Ghost Rider set. You can check the review on http://mybrickstore.blogspot.my/ .

Oh, and I kinda accidentally burned Ghost Rider’s hand on Mooncake/ Tang Long (Chinese lantern) Festival night, also on the night of the recent lunar eclipse. I thought it was having a ‘camp fire’, who would know that it actually caught fire. I was sad as I’ve just bought it in the afternoon. Luckily, I got so may spare hands from all the other SY minifigures I collected. So, it is fixed. One lesson I learnt, NEVER EVER, EVER PUT YOUR LEGO NEAR A FIRE.

My mom got me a second Lego Galactus minifigure (keychained) at Shah Alam, a taller version. Ok, that's all for today. I’ll be posting other stuff in the next post.

PT3 Finish!!!

My PT3 (Form 3) Examination has finally come to an end. Sigh… During the three day exam (12,13,15/10/2015), I’ve been thinking a lot of this post. There are few things which I’m posting. I’m gonna start with Lego.

Recently, I got obsessed with the new Lego Avengers Age of Utron set, Lego 76031 the Hulk Buster Smash. So, I made two version of mine since I don’t have it (yet, muahaha). I’m thinking of getting the ‘bootleg’ version of it, Decool 7110 the Hulk Buster Smash. It may not be the original Lego (freaking expensive in Malaysia!!!), but the quality is about 80- 90% of the original.

Tadaa!!!
My first version.

Toys/ Action Figures

Again, it’s been months since my last post. Sorry :p. Anyway, this post is about toys and action figures. I'm getting really bored writing so many post about books and movies. Now, I'm gonna review toys. Recently, my dad and I bought a few (MADE IN CHINA) action figures like Hulkbuster from Avengers Age of Ultron, Ant-Man and Quicksilver from the original Marvel Comics Universe and Lego minifigures (also MADE IN CHINA). Whatever it is, they look pretty cool.
Here they are:

1) Hulkbuster

As you can see, there's another head in the helmet. Its cool but who is that guy in the suit?

2) Ant-Man

Look! The helmet is removable!!!

3)Quicksilver

Uhh.... Nothing much to review about him 'cept that the costume is so accurate to the comic.

4) Lego Ultron

Its not the original Lego Ultron but I can live with it. The top left image is Ultron without the 'helmet'. The below images are a comparison between the original Lego Ultron and the Ultron that I have.

I add a little 'something' to Ultron and it looks like this:

You guys can check the Lego Avengers Age of Ultron (MADE IN CHINA) catalog on http://mybrickstore.blogspot.com/2015/05/lego-avengers-2-age-of-ultron.html.

Last but not least, my whole collection of Lego minifigures (both Marvel and DC, including the Lord of the Ring series).

Happy New Year!!!

Wow, it’s been months since my last post. Reason: I haven’t a thing to post. At least this time I’ve more things to write about. First of all, I’ve started reading X-Men. Example, Scarlet in Glory (Wolverine’s wedding), Mutant Massacre, Fall of the Mutants, Inferno, Bishop’s Crossing, Phalanx Covenant, Road to Onslaught Vol. 1 and a whole lot I can’t remember.

Secondly, I just finish reading Who Needs a Superhero by H. Michael Brewer. This guy is a genius at relating comic stuff with Christianity. My favorite chapter is the Iron Man chapter where he relates Tony Stark to David (yes, from David and Goliath) who is an alcoholic and has wealth, women and a broken heart. My second favorite chapter is the Punisher vs. Green Arrow chapter where he stated each and every type of arrow used by Green Arrow over the years. Ok, got the books. Next, off to music.

During the month of August, my group and I spent an entire month practicing for the performance for National Day and Hari Raya. It was really cool as this is the first time I played my guitar in school. I’ve also learn a lot of songs on my guitar like Sweet Home Alabama, Day Tripper and If I Fell in Love with You by the Beatles.Oh, and did I mention that I broke my capo?
Picture of me during the performance.

Moreover, a new member has been introduced to my family, Odin (the Cat). We were thinking of a name from Thundercat to Kit ‘Cat’ and ended up Odin (the King of Asgard and father to The Mighty Thor). Over all, life is good over here and I wish you all a good and happy new year. :)
