The Battle for the Beginning: Creation, Evolution, and the Bible by John MacArthur

How can I forget to review on this!!! I finished reading the Battle for the Beginning: Creation, Evolution, and the Bible by John MacArthur. I begin reading this book after I've finished reading Why Won't They Listen by Ken Ham.

Basically, in this book, John MacArthur gives a light, not really commentary-style, on Genesis 1-3 and at the same time proving that evolution is UTTERLY WRONG. Evolution is NOT SCIENCE, it is A RELIGION. Evolution is all base on assumptions, if you really think about it. You either believe that God really did create everything (literal 6 days, as stated in Genesis 1), or you'll believe in false religions.

In fact, this is the first book by John MacArthur that I've read and I must say it is really a blessing reading his work. Later on, I'll be reading his other works (already have the books, haven't read yet) like, Charismatic Chaos, Strange Fire: The Danger of Offending the Holy Spirit with Counterfeit Worship, The Gospel According to Jesus, The Jesus You Can't Ignore and a lot more.

To all Bible-believing Christians, the world will keep denying the existence of God and that God is the creator of universe, for the Bible says in Romans 1:20,21 (KJV) " For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: because that, when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful, but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish hearts was darkened."

Why Won't They Listen? by Ken Ham

Again I'm in school :P Recently, my dad pass me Why Won't They Listen? by Ken Ham. 

Here's the synopsis on the back of the book:

• NOAH'S FLOOD IS A GLOBAL FLOOD, NOT LOCAL. 

If you are a fundamentalist Christian (believing that the Bible is LITERAL and that GOD MEANS WHAT HE SAYS AND SAYS WHAT HE MEANS, which you should), this is the book for you on literal interpretation of the very first book of the Bible, Genesis and have a foundation of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19) based on creation. In fact, I advise every Christian to read this and share this book with others. It's fun and straight to the point.

Ken Ham's ministry, Answers in Genesis (from the website) is an apologetic ministry, dedicated to helping Christians defend their faith and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ effectively. We focus on providing answers to questions about the Bible—particularly the book of Genesis—regarding key issues such as creation, evolution, science, and the age of the earth.

Right now, I'm reading The New Answers Book 1 (total four books in the series), also another book by Answer in Genesis.
