Review on Decool 7123 Super Hero Airport Battle!!!

*This is a long overdue post (close to one year) due to me having to sit for Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM), the BIG examination before going off to college.*

FINALLY VISITED GM KLANG!!!
It was during the year-end holidays (2016) where my mom decided to bring all of us for a one-day trip there. My dad couldn’t join us as he was working overseas :( Nevertheless, I just want to say “THANK YOU!!!” to my parents for getting this Lego (Decool actually :p) set for me (^.^).

For those who do not know what ‘GM KLANG’ is, it’s a wholesale city (in other words, the place where things are at DIRT-CHEAP PRICES!!!) in Klang, Selangor where some of the goods include, obviously, BOOTLEG LEGOs ^.^ , clothes, shoes, comic posters, and lots, lots more. The place is huge. It is joined together by 4 separate blocks of buildings – Block A (if not mistaken is where all the toys are), Block B, Block C and Block D. The shop lots near by this building sell goods at extremely low prices too. OK, maybe I’m exaggerating about the “DIRT-CHEAP PRICES!!!” and the “extremely low prices” part. The point is unlike here in GM, you won’t be able to get the same thing you wanna get at such a ‘reasonable’ price in the city.

Before going into the huge building, we manage to stop by one of the shop lot which only sells BOOTLEG LEGOs. In the city, the Decool 7123 Super Hero Airport Battle set (copy of the original LEGO® 76051 Marvel Super Heroes Captain America: Civil War – Super Hero Airport Battle which costs more than RM300) costs RM 120 (btw, the price I compare with is from this place known as ‘AmCorp Mall, PJ’ which is THE GEEKIEST MALL IN TOWN. Google it and find out more!) whereas this shop sells it for only RM80 (o.O). I, however, didn’t get it ‘cause my original plan was to get SHENG YUAN (SY)’s version (the one with the brand new Iron Man Hulkbuster big figure designed by SY; ‘city price’ – RM130). They didn’t have it here.

Anyways, among some of the really amazing sets available here include Decool 7111 Tumbler (copy of the original LEGO® 76023 DC Comics Super Heroes Batman – The Tumbler) and LELE 34000 S.H.I.E.L.D Helicarrier (copy of the original LEGO® 76042 Marvel Super Heroes – The S.H.I.E.L.D Helicarrier) – which I plan to get after SPM (:p). What’s more, they actually have Decool’s Tumbler on display at the counter. It was like getting an electric-shock when my brother and I for the first time touched the Tumbler (Did I say ‘Tumbler’? I meant, THE FREAKING TUMBLER!!!).

Anyhow, we went inside the big-ass building and it was like, as the song The Rime of the Ancient Mariner where it goes, “WATER, WATER EVERYWHERE”, just that, instead of water, it’s “TOYS, TOYS EVERYWHERE” (specifically, “BOOTLEG LEGOs, BOOTLEG LEGOs EVERYWHERE”). MUAHHAHAHAHAHA!!!

My brother and I were [-fill in suitable adjectives relating to the feeling of greatly amazed, e.g. ‘astonished’-]. We’ve never seen SOOO MUCH LEGOs in our life before, whether original or bootleg! This is what we did for the entire day: my mom and my sisters went around looking at clothes and all the other goods whereas my brother and I went around ONLY looking for BOOTLEG LEGOs and specifically SHENG YUAN (SY)’s version of the Super Hero Airport Battle set. After three hours spent searching for the set, we finally found one, but it’s the same price as in the city.

So… we discussed and came to the conclusion of getting Decool’s version instead. Then, we went back to the shop which sells the Decool set at the lowest price unlike some shops which sells it as high as RM130! After my mom made a bargain to the shop-owner, she managed to reduce the price from RM80 (same price as the shop lot outside that we visited) to as low as RM76!!!

Yeah. So, that’s how I got Decool 7123 Super Hero Airport Battle. I won’t be doing the review of it in this post.

HAH! Made y’all read 700 words. I promise that the review for the set is in the next post. :D

GOD Bless!!!

Happy New Year!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
WOW!!! It's been a LONG time since my last post.
So,yeah! Finally done with SPM! Preparing to go for Pre-Uni studies. Maybe get a job in the meantime.

Hmm... What else?
Oh! I've finished my study on The Epistle to the Galatians (for now...). I've read Thomas R. Schreiner's Zondervan Exegitical Commentary on the New Testament: Galatians, as well as Chuck Missler's study on Galatians with the notes.

Praise be to God and Father of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for guiding me through His inspired and inerrant Word.
Glory be to God that Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for me (Galatians 3:13), and freed me from "the elemental things of the world" (Galatians 4:3).
Thanks be to God that I have fully understood (just as the apostle Paul did when he wrote this epistle almost 2000 years ago) that "I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me" (Galatians 2:20).

The following is from Chuck Missler's Notes on Galatians (click this link to download the full notes) concerning the Law, which isn't sufficient nor able to justify sinners before God, in contrast with God's grace:

Also, I've read two books from Defender Publishing Group which made me realise the importance of having a Biblical worldview in these "perilous times" (2 Timothy 3:1), as well as having a supernatural approach in the interpretation of Scripture. The book are Carl Gallups' Gods & Thrones: Nachash, Forgotten Prophecy, & The Return of the Elohim, and Thomas Horn's Blood on the Altar: The Coming War Between Christian vs. Christian.

Ok. That's all for my first post of the year.

God Bless.

17th Birthday :)

Do you remember what I got for my birthday last year (hint: it rhymes with 'Bible commentary')? Hahaha!!!
This year, my dad got me the Captain America Marvel EPIC Collection Vol.2 : The Coming of...The Falcon. Beautiful writing by Stan Lee (DUH!) and explosive artworks by Jack Kirby, Jim Steranko, Gene Colan, John Romita Sr. & John Buscema (DOUBLE DUH!!).

I've actually read the Marvel Pocketbook copy, but it's not as complete as this copy, 'cause it goes way back into the Tales of Suspense issues. Up till now, I haven't got the chance to read it yet (I'm still in the middle of my school's March Test). I sat for Additional Mathematics paper yesterday (13-03-2017) :p

OK.That's all for now.

*Continuation from the previous post :
Oh yah! I plan to get LELE 34000 S.H.I.E.L.D Helicarrier by the end of this year after SPM.
In this set, there's 3069 pieces and it's a exact copy of the original Lego :)

Stay tune for Decool 7123's review. :)
