Why Won't They Listen? by Ken Ham

Again I'm in school :P Recently, my dad pass me Why Won't They Listen? by Ken Ham.

Here's the synopsis on the back of the book:

A lot of money and time is spent by Christians who have a passion to spread the gospel. Across the globe, this effort is paying off as seekers find Christ, the source of truth and peace.
In many cultures, though, appeals made on behalf of the Christian faith are met with blank stares, indifference, even mocking hostility.
Ken Ham, one of Christendom's most astute observers of evangelism, is convinced that compromise with evolutionary world views has virtually crippled preaching and teaching efforts, especially in Western societies.
In this truly bold new book, Ham presents an ambitious plan to fulfill the Great Commission. A compelling writer and speaker, Ham deftly exposes the great flaws of Darwinism, and shows how compromise with this philosophy of death is killing the Church. By urging Christians to stand on the veracity of the Bible, Ham clears the jungle of tangled views of reality, and helps committed Christians see the path to effective evangelism.

This book emphasize a lot on the importance of believing that events like:
  • GOD CREATED THE EARTH IN SIX LITERAL DAYS,
  • ADAM AND EVE ARE REAL,
  • THE FALL IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN IS LITERAL AND REAL ,
  • NOAH'S FLOOD IS A GLOBAL FLOOD, NOT LOCAL.
If you are a fundamentalist Christian (believing that the Bible is LITERAL and that GOD MEANS WHAT HE SAYS AND SAYS WHAT HE MEANS, which you should), this is the book for you on literal interpretation of the very first book of the Bible, Genesis and have a foundation of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19) based on creation. In fact, I advise every Christian to read this and share this book with others. It's fun and straight to the point.

Ken Ham's ministry, Answers in Genesis (from the website) is an apologetic ministry, dedicated to helping Christians defend their faith and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ effectively. We focus on providing answers to questions about the Bible—particularly the book of Genesis—regarding key issues such as creation, evolution, science, and the age of the earth.

Right now, I'm reading The New Answers Book 1 (total four books in the series), also another book by Answer in Genesis.

That's all for now. Keep reading and studying the Bible, pray everyday and share the Gospel. GOD bless you. :D

Bon Jovi: Burning Bridges

Just for a short post (I'm actually in school :P), listen to Bon Jovi's new album: Burning Bridges. It's really good. If you love country-western rock, you'll love this.

My dad say it's better than the new Iron Maiden album. I don't know. I haven't got the chance to listen to it.
Anyway, I recommend Burning Bridges highly. :D

My entire Lego Collection

When I say "Lego Collection". it's actually the bootleg ones, not the original LEGO. What can I say, it's just too expensive to buy the original in Malaysia.

So, far... 124 minifigures, 10 big figures, 1 building, 5 vehicles and 3 hulkbusters.

My Iron Man minifigures from Sheng Yuan, Decool and LELE.

Hulkbusters from Sheng Yuan and LELE. The big figure is from Decool.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows Action Figures

During the mid-year school holiday, my family and I went to watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, TWICE!!! It's one of the best movie we've ever watched, better than Captain America: Civil War (although it's so far my favorite Marvel Movie). Everything in the movie is enjoyable, from the character to the story. And the main theme song makes you feels as if any moment Optimus Prime is gonna' show up on the screen do his 'big speech' (typical Michael Bay movies :P). OK... on with the action figures.

Bought these six figures for RM19.90 each at Subang Parade. For this price, the detail on each figures are fantastic, not to mention their articulations.
